La lune trop bleme
13 October 2008
I was surfing the tubes during my scheduled daily procrastination and came across this: 7 Music Trends Whose Return Must Be Stopped. Just watch out for the picture of Miley Cyrus' tongue - it's creepy. I also found Weird Al's new single, "Whatever You Like" (T.I. Parody), check it out below.
I was able to get my hands on the new Ani DiFranco album, Red Letter Year, before it came out and released a review through my college newspaper. Click here to read it. I also received an email recently and someone across the pond in Germany created a short animation to go along with my song "Fall in love again", which I released with my previous band (this song will also be released on my upcoming compilation album!). Click here to watch it on YouTube. I am completely flattered and I definitely approve of others using my music like this - if I can inspire someone else to be creative then I did my job.
I know this is a long post, but I have been taking a course in French recently (I think it's a beautiful, musical language) and I have added "La Complainte de la Butte" to my live repertoire. In fact I performed it at my last show, so I decided to post a rough demo I recorded awhile back. I'd love some feedback! Lastly, I finally got the one and only photo (as far as I know) of Geoff and myself playing at Vines a few months back. Click on the picture to see a larger version of it.
